We have now updated the LinkedIn share button plugin to include the official LinkedIn button with the share count included. And when I say we, I mean John Blackbourn has :)
We would have updated sooner, the official button has been around a little while now, but we found that it caused a lot of problems on a lot of sites, so we held off until we felt some of the teething problems had been ironed out and it behaved in a more stable manner.
