Just back from an excellent weekend at WordCamp Ireland where I gave a talk on the intro track about “WordPress as a CMS”.
Met some faces I only knew previously from Twitter, met some entirely new faces, had some wonderful chats and saw some excellent presentations. I’m looking forward to pouring over my notes and properly digesting some of the tips and thoughts provoking items I scribbled down from the weekend. Congratulations to Sabrina Dent and Katherine Nolan for organising the weekend.
And of course a big huge massive thank you to everyone who came to my presentation!
If you attended my talk (or if you’re just curious) and would like to try out the WordPress navigation plugin that John Blackbourn developed for me, either email me or leave a comment below and I will send it on to you in advance of making it publicly available.
The slides of my talk are below in case you were at my talk and would like to check any of the tips or urls that I mentioned. There’s a menu button on the bottom left of the slideviewer which reveals a download option if you need it.

We had an existing website but we felt that it was not working to its full potential. Beyond this, we really had no idea of what we wanted. Frank took this on board and delivered to us a website that does everything we could hope for as well as looking great. He was professional and patient. We couldn't recommend him enough. Great job!!!

Sorry I missed out on this, if you are ever doing a reprise – Please let me know.
You’d have really enjoyed the event actually, pity you couldn’t make it.
As for my own talk, we could always grab a coffee :)
