Organico
The Organico logo was developed for Organico Shop, Cafe and Bakery in Bantry, and evokes the calm surroundings as well as the organic nature of the produce.
I’m very fond of this logo, if I do say so myself I feel it has an understated strength and a calm essence derived from the careful font selection, flowing mark and overall composition. The font was chosen for it’s elegant simplicity, it’s charmingly open ‘O’ and the organic shape of the lower case ‘g’.
For the mark I began with a shape based on a grain, but introduced movement and flow as I wanted to evoke not just healthy food, but healthy living.
I also designed business cards for Hannah & Rachel of Organico.
